Fleet maintenance is the process of maintaining and repairing a group of vehicles or equipment that are owned or operated by a business or organization. This can include tasks such as changing oil and filters, inspecting and replacing tires, checking brakes and suspension systems, and addressing any mechanical or electrical issues that arise.
In other words, it refers to the steps you take to ensure your vehicles are safe and in good working order. As one of your company’s most important investments, each vehicle must be safe, dependable, and able to stay on the road for the maximum amount of time.
Fleet maintenance is the core practice of keeping your service vehicles in the best-possible or good condition to avoid vehicular breakdowns. It’s the best and most systematic approach to preventative vehicle maintenance, including planning, scheduling and analysis. Here’s how fleet maintenance services are important:
Driver safety is paramount in any operation. Management must take all necessary steps to reduce the risk of preventable traffic accidents. Wearing tires and blowouts, faulty brakes, and steering/suspension issues are some of the leading causes of crashes, all of which can be avoided with proper fleet maintenance. Depending on your operational needs, a preventative maintenance program can be time-based.
Vehicles that have been well serviced and maintained are more roadworthy and, as a result, are less likely to be involved in road accidents due to mechanical or electrical failure. However, additional costs such as vehicle repairs, legal fees, productivity losses, medical care for employees, property damage expenses and the cost of damaged products can quickly add up.
This affects vehicle insurance coverage because businesses with fewer claims can pay lower premiums and keep coverage affordable.
Proactive maintenance of vehicle mechanical functions ensures fewer breakdowns. It helps to reduce the need for downtime for repairs.
The longer a vehicle is out of commission for repairs, the more opportunities to conduct business and make money are lost. Regular maintenance is similar to a health checkup for business vehicles, ensuring they are always roadworthy and ready to perform as expected.
A well-maintained vehicle has a longer lifespan and can serve business objectives more frequently without incurring additional, often unplanned, costs.
A highly reliable fleet routine maintenance service can provide numerous advantages, such as:

I had a very positive experience with Wolverine Auto. I had to travel the Alaskan Highway and my air conditioner broke. They were the only mechanic that was able to fit me in short notice. Matt was wonderful and answered my messages even when their office was closed. They didnt over charge me when they could have and got me back on the road in about 2.5hr. They earned five stars in my book.
Great automotive shop with high standards. Highly recommended.

Awesome service!
I was that type of person that walked in mid day and begged for them to fix my vehicle BUT also needed it back as I needed to head out to work that evening! They squeezed my vehicle in even though I noticed the parking lot was full of other vehicles too. Which they did warn me my vehicle may not be done that day. Of course I knew was fair . Matt was so informative and the girls were so friendly and awesome too. The techs here know what they're doing for sure. They drove me home and the girls quoted me how much I might be looking at for this service before they even went forward with anything! How awesome! When I paid it was right around there (even a little less) no hidden fees! Highly recommend this place!
Thank you to ALL the Wolverine Staff who got my vehicle in and out in a timely manner!

During our trip from Alaska to Kansas my truck blew 3 spark plugs. They got us in fast, had great customer service, very knowledgeable mechanics and had us back on the road before any other shop would've even been able to get us in. If you're ever broke down near fort St John I'd definitely recommend them
(They even gave us a follow up call a day later to make sure we made it safe. They're awesome)
I give them TWO THUMBS UP!
